Today is my Gran's 81st Birthday!
She is a very difficult lady to buy for. She loves watching films but has a squillion dvds and subscribes to Sky Movies so there isn't anything she hasn't seen!
She does love cards though so I enjoyed making this (the photo is of the drawing but I forgot to photograph the completed card ... in a rush!)
Drawn with Uni Pit fineliners and painted with Winsor and Newton watercolours. Image is 9cm x 9cm.
My gift is the opportunity to dress up a little and go for 'High Tea' at Bettys Tea Rooms It won't be for another couple of weeks as she is going into hospital for an eye operation so hopefully by then she'll be feeling fit enough to enjoy herself :-)

Your card and an invitation to Tea sound like a wonderful way to celebrate your grandmother's birthday. I'm sure she will be quite pleased and she is very lucky to have you as her granddaughter!! Enjoy your time together!
